after 250k the motor still ran perfect until the ecu fried. and by the way dont be cheap on your oil changes. use the good stuff...

yup the ole 4.0l v6 ford had in the rangers were damn near builet proof. i beat the hell out of that thing every day and the thing to finally kill it was the ecu. granted i had to drop the oil pan and clean out the oil pick up but other than that i never had any major troubles with it. surprisingly...
